This movie was funny. It would be a great movie to take the kids to go see it. I give it three stars because it can teaches kids many things about life.
I am a Seinfeld fan but after seeing this movie I don't think voice work is the best choice for Jerry Seinfeld. His voice lacks a range of emotions. The movie has several funny spots but lacks overall. It's worth renting the DVD but I would pick a different movie at the threaters.
This is your average Disney Pixar production minus the plot. The movie follows a bee with an annoying voice around listening to him crack these little jokes, these little bee jokes. You'd be better off with ANTZ or A BUGS LIFE if you like talking insects. Its a great movie to take your kids to but don't forget your ipod and steven king novel.
Entertaining movie as it allows the individual to consider life from a bee perspective. I enjoyed the portrayals of the bee colony and the roles filled by different types of bees. The storyline could have been much better. Overall a 3 out of 5..
Very funny in places but only mildly amusing over all. The Seinfeld curse continues as Chris Rock steals the show from Seinfeld, getting the only genuine laughter from the audience with his hilarious comparison of lawyers to blood sucking parasites.
Was terribly disappointed in this movie. Took my grandkids. Didnt even keep their attention. What a shame! Was hopping this would get Jerry Seinfelds career off and rolling again. Afraid to say I now feel he is over. A blow in the wind.
My two kids 9, 7 loved the movie but I wasn't thrilled. It was very cute. So many animated movies have laughs for the adults butI didn't see much in this one. Personally, it's a renter not theater.
This movie was adorable. It had spectacular effects and the overall plot was entertaining. It had some adult humor kids wounldn't understand and some parts just plain and simple didn't make since in general...but overall, me and my 12 year old sister enjoyed it!!
My 5 year old really enjoyed this but my 10 year old did not. It had a lot going on but was still a bit boring.
Not the typical "feel good" romp you may have come to expect based on other recent animated releases. In my opinion, this movie has a somewhat darker feel to it. The colorful animation and non-stop activity in the film will keep little ones engaged, but the usual made-for-adults plot line is weak at best. Had I known more about the movie before taking my 6, 4 and 2 year olds, I would probably have just skipped it.
