this movie was SO FUNNY. i didnt think id like it so much being older then most of the tots in the audience buuut i ended up seeing it 3 times, katie is hillarious.
this movie was a great movie.. i went with my older sisters..we couldn't stop laughing. i love dr. seuss. all his movies are awesome. i mean come on who doesn't like his movie the grinch..this movie had hysteria and excitement.
I absolutely LOVED this movie! Some friends and I was supposed to go see a different movie that wasn't out, SO change of plans, we went to see Dr. Seuss' Horton Hears a Who and let me tell you, it was not a dissapointment. It's very cute and great for kids and has humor that adults would enjoy. Everytime I watch a cute kid movies, i'm put in a great mood...this movie will put a smile on every person's face, guaranteed :]
I'm defintally seeing this one again :D
Horton Hears a Who was very colorful and had some adult humor in it. Im 13 and im usually into scary movies but this really was preety good i would but it.
I do not like them in a box. I do not like them with a fox. I do not like them in a house. I do not like them with a mouse. I do not like them here or there. I do not like them anywhere. I do not like crap movies. I do not like them, Sam-I-am.
A dazzling, adorable, creatively witty children's film suitable for all ages! While the film/book may indeed be aimed at children, the sparkling creativity seen in imagery, use of language, mere plot, and moral lesson Horton teaches makes the film capable of pleasing any crowd.
In response to Robert, I am amused that you learned so much about privet hedges and political agents. I seldom see movies that combine international espionage with English gardening techniques. I am looking forward to this one.
The movie does NOT take an aggessive stance against home schooling, but moreso slams the quality of our PUBLIC educational system in the beginning, however trite. I also saw no "hazing" of poor Horton. If anything it was a social commentary on liberalism in our country but the thought of "a person is a person no matter how small" resonates well. And any movie with an REO Speedwagon song in it is worth seeing, although I will agree you won't be dancing in your seat throughout the movie. Overall a good movie and my 5 year old didn't get upset once.
The animation was above par for a children’s movie but, the plot was weak and lacked a decent soundtrack. It also had a very out spoken political side agents home schooling and privet education. There was a couple of scenes when the other animals started hazing poor Horton and tried to kill all the Whos so you may want to go with your children if they are easily upset. Nonetheless it was at times an amusing movie and worth seeing.
